I really enjoyed this series. It breaks down the most important speeches that define our society. It's really fascinating to hear stories behind them and commentary of people who were there at that time.

Everyone must know the stories behind the speeches

Don't expect to listen to full-lenght speeches. Take the single episodes as creative audioclips of a given political/historical/economic situation illustrated with great (or, at least, significant) speeches. And many many insightful comments and footnotes. It's cleverly cut. Thought-provoquingly colourful. Balanced? It tries to be so. I listened to the full series in two days and enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks again, Audible!
